Joel began his outdoor journey at a young age mowing lawns for his dad at apartment complexes where his parents were managers. In high school working at a local car dealer, Joel was offered his first chance at plowing being taught how to run a plow truck and skid steer for multiple dealer locations. After a few years working side jobs doing lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal, in 2009 Outdoor Care was founded.

With a communications and leadership degree from Bethel University Joel has grown Outdoor Care into an award winning, full-service lawn care, snow removal, and landscape design company that meets the needs of residential and commercial companies alike. Joel loves meeting new clients and maintaining long relationships with customers to meet there needs creatively now and there long-term dreams of the future.

Growing up and living in Bloomington Joel is proud to call the area home. He is married with 3 boys and can often be seen at the local hockey rink, ski hill, or Church. In the summer Joel loves to be on the water with his family and friends where they can truly relax.
